smooth moves

it has been raining cats and dogs here. thea and i were going a little stir crazy this afternoon so we decided to have a dance party and luckily i caught a few of her moves with the camera.

but we had a MAJOR celeb sighting over the weekend....

we've been making a trip up and down the street every morning recently to check out the local fauna and as such thea has become obsessed with birds. zack filled a couple of feeders the other day and since then we've had a bird party in our back yard. thea spends much of her time kissing and hugging the window and yelling "come back!!" when the birds fly out of sight.

she also gets a big kick out of sticking her finger up her nose which can be awkward at times.

in honor of the day, here are some photos of uncle j, master wills and miss thea that i took when we were home in december. i love love love these pictures and have been meaning to post them for so long!

we put the cousins in a box, pretended it was a boat and pushed them around for hours during this visit. it should come as no surprise to anyone who knows them that thea and john got carried away motorboating [by the end of one marathon session, william's head was soaked from thea spraying him!]. i guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree....
