thea woke up in the wee hours of thursday morning with a cold and we're going on day number four here including three sleepless nights for all of us. she's got a fever, incredibly stuffy nose, runny eyes and is just plain pitiful.
she was so lifeless yesterday that we actually laid on the couch and watched her first episode of sesame street, which was one of those surreal moments where i kept thinking, "i'm a parent? watching sesame street with my child!? how did this happen?"
when does one learn the concept of blowing her nose? we've been doing our damndest to teach this as i'm certain it would help the situation but so far we're just get met with the smallest of giggles.
hoping this doesn't last too much longer....
ps: we hear that uncle john is equally under the weather and send our best wishes for a speedy recovery! we miss you!
